Address before assumption

“Orlando” is not one permit counter

A mailing address can sit inside the City of Orlando, another municipality, or unincorporated Orange County. The project address—not the place name used in conversation—determines the authority and local requirements.

Structural, electrical, plumbing, gas, and HVAC work generally require permits and inspections. Some cosmetic in-place work may not. Associations, historic overlays, floodplain review, planned developments, and condo rules can add separate approvals.
